Position Title:  HR Manager

Type:  Full-Time

Reporting to:  General Manager

Location:  Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

Sunrise Events Vietnam (SEV) is recruiting an HR Manager to lead our HR and administrative functions, ensuring effective recruitment, staff development, and compliance with Vietnamese laws. 

Key Responsibilities 

1. Human Resources: 

  • Overseeing the full spectrum of HR functions, including talent acquisition, training and development, employee relations, recruitment, performance management, and compensation and benefits.

  • Keeping abreast of updates in local legislation and ensuring that HR policies and practices comply with local laws while supporting business objectives and maintaining competitiveness in the market.

  • Managing recruitment activities to attract and retain qualified candidates for various positions within the organization.

  • Analyzing current market trends to ensure the organization's competitiveness in and its ability to attract and retain top talent.

  • Handling employee relations matters to ensure a positive work environment.

  • Developing and executing training programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.

  • Implementing employee retention strategies and developing a talented workforce.

  • Monitoring and maintaining HR records and documentation, including employee contracts, attendance, and performance records.

  • Ensuring HR practices align with the company's mission, values, and culture.

2. Administrative and Logistics:

  • Streamlining administrative functions to improve efficiency.

  • Managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts for services.

  • Overseeing office operations and maintenance of equipment.

  • Supporting the Project Managers in relation to administration and logistics.

  • Handling the procurement of stationery supplies, furniture, and equipment, and maintaining up-to-date inventory records.

  • Arranging travel, accommodations, and logistical arrangements for the events.

  • Coordinating company events and meetings.

3. Operation Management

  • Collaborating with BOM on strategic planning and goal development.

  • Monitoring HR budgets and reporting on key metrics.

  • Performing additional tasks as assigned to support company initiatives.

Skills and qualifications:

  • 5+ years in HR management, with 5-7+ years in HR roles.

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related fields.

  • Strong communication skills in English and Vietnamese.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR software.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

  • Ability to adapt and work in a dynamic and constantly evolving environment.

  • Possess a strategic mindset and strong analytical skills with a relentless focus on execution.

  • Creativity, self-learning ability and willingness to learn, Multitasking and the ability to handle work pressure with the environment quickly.
