[Hanoi, July 1st, 2024] Building on the successes of previous races, The 3rd Edition of the Techcombank Hanoi International Marathon is set to take place on September 15, 2024. Not only is it recognized by the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS) as an international standard marathon and as a qualifier for the Abbott World Marathon Majors, but it has also been honored as one of the official races supporting the Hanoi People’s Committee in commemorating 70 years since the liberation of Ha Noi.
This recognition is a testament to the efforts of the organizers in partnership with the city of Hanoi to establish a prestigious, high-quality, and professional marathon comparable to major races in the region and the world. With the message “Run for a Greater Vietnam,” the Techcombank Hanoi International Marathon seeks to inspire healthy, active lifestyles in the community while showcasing Hanoi's rich cultural heritage and potential as a premier sports tourism destination to international friends.
